Our Audits

CHAIn offers three main examples of audit: gold, silver and bronze.

All these standards will cover the same areas of work and will constitute a root and branch investigation into departmental and organisational requirements for informatics.  The difference between the standards is the time spent on each aspect and, therefore, the detail into which issues may be analysed.

Gold

This is a full level audit which takes approximately 40 days of contact and analysis with a further 10 to 20 days to write up, prepare and present recommendations.

Silver

The silver standard will cover all the same aspects as the gold but will not be able to go into raised instantiations on a case by case basis so will be unable to provide granular detail.  This audit will take approximately 20 days of contact and analysis with a further 5 to 10 days to write up, prepare and present recommendations.

Bronze

This will cover all the areas at a top level, enabling a sound understanding of the department and organisational requirements from an informatics perspective.  The audit will present recommendations in broad strokes and may not be able to cover any systemic issues raised by the investigation.  This audit will take 10 days of contact with a further 3 to 5 days to write up, prepare and present recommendations.
